Medical Informatics Software Engineer

A Medical Informatics Software Engineer is sought to design and develop Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for the healthcare field. This includes an open EMR infrastructure, high-performing system architecture, new software features, practice management maintenance, and testing in a cross-platform environment. 

Responsibilities:
. Design, develop, and support high-performing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Develop, unit test software modules based on fast growing and changing practice needs.
. Design, implement an open EMR infrastructure based on CMIS/CMIP which may reduce cost of health providers by significantly improving interoperates among heterogeneous EMR systems.
. Design scalable content management structures; implement new web designs and features.
. Design and develop scalable and high-performing enterprise database for our EMR system.
. Allocate server resources to achieve optimum database performance, monitor and administer the database environment to ensure continuity of service and operational stability.
. Analyze data and server performance, perform query and server optimizations.
. Maintain, reconcile and support multiple practice management systems including eClinicalWorks, Trackdoc, DicTran and EyeRoute.

Minimum Requirements:
. Master¡¯s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
. Six-month software engineering experience.
. Proficient in designing and implementing high performance open EMR system based on CMIS/CMIP.
