Appointments

Patients with retinal problems may make appointments directly but the practice prefers that referrals are made to be sure that consultation is appropriate.   These problems include diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal vascular disease, retinal detachments, vitreoretinal interface disorders, surgical complications, uveitis and second opinions. Appointments and consultations may be made Monday through Friday in the Hicksville office at 516-939-6100 or Hauppauge at 631-273-1818.  The physicians are also available for professional and public speaking engagements.

Retinal examination requires dilation of the pupils  Please bring your glasses, a driver, a list of your present medications and insurance cards.  If your insurance company requires a referral, kindly obtain this prior to coming in for your appointment.  Directions are avaialbe by clicking at the bottom of the map.  For a map and directions to the Hauppauge office click here.
